Lovely large rooms, very comfortable huge bed. Good pillows and cushions. Small table and chair in room. We had a view of the river, our room was upgraded to suit my slight mobility issue, very thoughtful. Portico access to private parking at the back of the hotel, under cover. Room for about 12 cars in two rows, front row may have to move if back row wants to get out but can leave keys at reception for this. Easy to find and good access from main roads. Excellent 24hr room service menu, lots of dishes to choose from. Starters from about 8 euro and main courses for 14.50. Great value if you don't want to go out. Lots of restaurants along the street, both sides of hotel. Bar at hotel, good choice and good value. Town is lovely and only a short walk for shops, cathedral and clock tower. Hotel is clean, some parts recently refurbished, new carpets etc. Smells fresh and staff are excellent. Breakfast also good, Fresh squeezed orange juice, nice coffee, eggs, ham, cheese, pastries etc. Couldn't fault it!

We had two rooms in July ‘24. Great location in a very pretty town. A clean and well run hotel. Buffet breakfast very good with eating it outside possible if desired. The hotel worked well for our family and was a good choice. The reception staff are very polite and helpful and our room was bright and clean with a comfortable bed and bedding. Several restaurants within easy walking distance. Suggest reservation if a table is required on the pleasant river bank across the road from the hotel.

A decent hotel in the perfect location to explore Auxerre. Easy parking. Lots of restaurants nearby. Clean and comfortable bed,Delightful staff couldn’t do enough to help.

Easy parking, private, behind the hotel but you need to book. Room - superb, overlooking the river. Comfybed. Location - great location opposite the river and within walking distance of the old town. Auxerre is a very pretty, quaint, mediaeval town, well worth visiting. The hotel is within easy walking distance to various restaurants on the waterfront. We ate at Chez Maxim, a delicious meal, we recommend it. Good breakfast.

Location was excellent and very close to the centre, breakfast good with hot and cold food on offer to a high standard. Underground parking was also convenient using hotel de ville public parking 50m away and getting a reduced rate from the hotel.

Location - lovely location on the banks of the river. We were in Auxerre to watch a football fixture. The location was perfect for walking to the ground.

Our room was very nice - comfortable and very clean. The location of the hotel was perfect - on the quai and very close to a number of restaurants. The staff were friendly and helpful. It was a perfect place to stop over for a night on our way back home.

Lovely room with comfortable bed. Great lighting for readers. Big bright bathroom. Lots of light and mirrors. Lovely view of trees and the Yonne river through the trees. Great breakfast with lovely fresh fruit salad.
